Boogies Draggin' Butt FundraiserOn Saturday, April 24th, Boogies is having a "Disco Night" fundraiser at Boogies Sports Lounge. It's at 1155 Main Street, at Redwood avenue.
Prizes for best costume, dance off, door prizes, silent auction, games etc.
It's a Bud, Spud and Steak, with a veggie stir fry available for our vegetarian friends.

MPI Dragon Boat fundraiserI am organizing a fundraiser in order to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society on Saturday June the 6th.
The time is 8pm until 2am!
It is in association with the 2009 Manitoba Dragon Boat Festival and on behalf of our 2 MPI teams Licence to Paddle and the 60 Second Paddlers.
I am writing to invite you to the event.
Tickets are available through me or you can pick one up at the door.
All of the money raised will go to the Manitoba Division of the Canadian Cancer Society.
A great cause and good times guaranteed!
It will be held on June 6th at the Pyramid Cabaret.
We have a live band that will entertain us throughout the evening.
They are awesome and they play a great selection of party and dance music.

We will have an amazing array of silent auction prizes.
Some of the top prizes will include:
· a big screen TV,
· a leather chair,
· a high end guitar,

GWL fundraiserHi all,
The Great-West Life Dragonhearts usually co-host a fundraising social
with another team (or two) in preparation for the Manitoba Dragon Boat
festival. So we're looking for some teams to join us!
More teams =bigger event, and more funds for the Canadian Cancer Society!
Let me know if your team might be interested in co-hosting something
with us in maybe July or August. Then we'll get to work on deciding a
venue, printing tickets, etc.
When all is done we'll split the proceeds between the teams evenly.

They will be using the restaurant side as well as the lounge side; people are welcome to bring their children. You do not need a ticket to attend the event but do need a ticket to enter the silent auction and qualify for the special meal prices.
